Summer Break!

Hello everyone,

Time is flying and I hope you are starting to get in the groove of a summer break!  We at TRC are doing the same, but look forward to information soon on kickoff programs for the coming year.  We are committed to establishing a schedule in advance so you can schedule your personal agendas accordingly, and we hope you will join us!

You may be wondering about elections and the lack thereof.  Well...problem is no one stepped forward indicating  intent to serve in order to permit an election proceeding.  Never fear however...we still have opportunities to become more involved by  volunteering on the board!!  IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, please contact me directly for more information. We recognize this is a committment (as those of us who have been members can attest to for many years), however we are trying to be cognizant of life balance.  We continue to meet monthly at a group defined date and time as convenient as possible.  Call in options for the monthly meetings are possible dependiong on agenda and work to be accomplished, or a mutually agreed upon meeting space is determined.  As the TRC is hosting the region 3 meeting in 2018, a large portion of our time will be dedicated to the planning and implementation to make that session a success over the coming year.  A committment to attend 80% of board meetings is required, not only programs.  Cooperative work amongst the entire team is expected, and I have been thrilled to work with many fantastic colleagues over the years who are dedicated to chapter success.   We would love for you to join our team!

Transition meeting of officers is being scheduled soon, so if you wish to become part of the workgroups or take on a more proactive role, please let me know.  Until we meet again soon, have a safe, happy and sunfilled summer!
