General Updates

Hope you are having a wonderful spring weekend!

I just wanted to share my thanks to all those who attended and participated in the April 20th Substance Abuse Educational meeting.  It was a very informative opportunity and I hope you were able to take some great information back to share with your peer groups!  An especially big thank you to our speakers, and our vendor partners as well, without whom these programs would not be fulfilled.  Also thank you to Charlene Trimeloni, our CAT, who made the journey to Pittsburgh to join us.  We were thrilled to have you!

Finally to those of you that participated in the Chinese auction...we raised $125 to support the great work at the Zoo!!

A couple of reminders:  Registration for the May 10th meeting will close at 5pm on Friday May 5th, 2 short weeks away.  If you are interested in attending, please register soon!

And finally, Nominations information for board positions closes Tuesday April 25th.  As mentioned we have a number of opportunities for members to become more involved with chapter leadership.  Please submit your BIO and Essay requirements (posted 4/3) to Wendy no later than Tuesday 4/25 at 6pm.  This important info will be shared with the membership as part of the elections process.   Elections will be held via Surveymonkey, and the voting options will be open April 26 through May 8th.  Please remember to vote when the final election info is shared!!  Any questions regarding the process, or to submit your info, please use:   grbachwen@msn.com.
