Seeking volunteers interested in Board positions

Election season is upon us and we are looking for interested individuals to help with chapter operations as board and ad hoc committee members.  The positions available needing filled are:

President-elect (must have minimum of 2 years recent active board service to be considered; this position will take over as President for year 2)

Treasurer-elect (2 year committment, this positon will take over as Treasurer for year 2)

Secretary

Community affairs committee (2 openings)

Programs committee (3-4 openings)

Vendor liasion (1-2 openings)

All board positions are required to attend at least 80% of board meetings, and are contracted at the beginning of the year at annual transition meeting in June-July.  That is a mandatory meeting once date determined.  We are seeking individuals who are committed to the ongoing success of the chapter by being active board participants for duties, and who are willing to offer peer support as needed. 

If you are interested in serving in any capacity, WE WANT YOU!   Please submit  your resume/CV and a 300 word description discussing 1) what chapter membership has afforded you in your personal and professional development, and 2) why you are intersted in serving.  These items will be shared with the membership as part of the balloting process for the election.  Submit these items to Wendy electronically no later than April 25th to be considered.  (grbachwen@msn.com)
