Good morning everyone,

TRC Board of Directors is seeking input from our membership in preparation for Certified Nurses Day on March 19th. Responses will be included in our forthcoming spring newsletter.

What prompted you to seek Certification?
What benefits have you seen as a result of being Certified?
How can we best promote Certification to future colleagues?

I sought certification as validation of knowledge to myself and others.
I have received some monetary rewards, but more importantly, I have signed CCRN proudly to my signature.
Promoting validation and better outcomes from certified nurses is keystone.

As a Cardiac ICU nurse, I wanted to challenge myself, expand my critical care knowledge, and enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Certification has increased my confidence and improved my critical thinking. It has also opened doors for leadership and career advancement.

We can highlight its impact on patient care and career growth, offer study resources, and advertise institutional support through financial incentives and recognition programs.
