AACN Webinar on Healthy Work Environments

Posted 23 days ago by Wendy Grbach

Creating and Sustaining Healthy Work Environments (HWEs)

Evidence shows that units implementing AACN’s Healthy Work Environment (HWE) Standards typically experience better nurse, patient and hospital outcomes than units that don’t. However, it can be challenging to know where to start and how to gain momentum in applying these standards in your own organization.

Join nurse Heather Pena of Duke University Hospital for AACN’s free live webinar, “Creating and Sustaining Healthy Work Environments (HWEs),” to gain additional knowledge and support for driving positive workplace change.

Thursday, April 25, at 10 a.m. PT

Length: 60 Minutes

Register

Webinar participants will acquire a deeper understanding of the six HWE standards and how to conduct and use the results of AACN’s HWE Assessment Tool (HWEAT), as well as strategies to implement and sustain HWE best practices. The presentation will also feature a real-world case study illustrating how one unit used its HWEAT results to improve the health of their workplace — and, ultimately, increase nurse retention rates.

Free registration includes the live webinar, webinar slide presentation and associated resources, plus access to the on-demand recording. This webinar offers 1.0 CE hour (60 minutes) with CERP category C.
