Reminder about Membership Status and Happy New year!!

Hello everyone,

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season with family and friends, and Happy 2023!

Just sharing a reminder that in order to become, or retain, local chapter membership, that you must be a member in good standing with National AACN first.  This is the National office's requirement.  I have been receiving a number of renewal requests recently that do not complete that requirement, and thus I cannot grant local chapter participation.

This also impacts registry to attend educational events.  If you are not an active member, you must register at the non-member rate to attend the chosen event.  Member benefits include reduced cost for attendance and in fairness to all, please make your selections carefully when registering.  If you are in arrears during this process, you receive a notice from me indicating so. 

Also as a sidebar, pending registrations to any event will only be held for 72 hours. If you attempt registration and do not complete the payment step, the seat will be made available to another in fairness to those on the waiting list.
