Great News! Silver Beacon Award Winners- UPMC Presbyterian CTICU!

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all well!  We received some awesome news recently regarding a new Silver Beacon award winner from within the TRC AACN membership!

UPMC Presbyterian's CTICU, under the leadership of Joni Minor, Unit Director, and  Betsy George, Programmatic Nurse Specialist, shared the notification recently that the unit was recognized for excellence as an AACN first-time silver beacon award winner.  Formal notification would have been presented in person at NTI, however the COVID-19 event allayed that.  Joni was notified of the win in May. Please see the attached copy of the infoblast shared via UPMC's Infonet.  This is a fabulous accomplishment for any ICU to strive for and validates the committment of nursing teams to go above and beyond.
