Call for Volunteers to Serve on the TRC Board

Hello everyone,

Hope you are having an excellent start to summer!  The TRC Board is seeking members who may be interested in serving on the board to fill open positions.  We know this is a time committment, but we need assistance to continue the mission and vision of the chapter. Interested parties must be willing to meet the requirements of the positions.  We meet monthly for stategic planning and operations, this can be done by phone conference if needed, but most face to face meetings are required. 

Positions available for filling are:

Secretary: Recording of meeting minutes documents, hardcopy file retentions, and dispersion to board.

Treasurer Elect:  Work closely with current treasurer to learn the processes and requirements of hte financial aspects of chapter management

Program Committee:  Assistance to current Program chair for planning of educational programs for hte coming year, as well as collaboration for the annual meeting to be held in April. 

Community Affairs Chair:  Identification and ongoing collaboration to propagate the mission of AACN with our communities of interest.  We have assisted many organizations in the past and we need to resume this activity.

Membership Chair:  This position requires active updates of the AACN database and monitoring and collaboration with the Webmaster and Nursing Network Moderator for accuracy.  Recruitment to program events is a goal.

**Other positions require ACTIVE participation as a board member for a consecutive period of 2 years:  President and President-Elect, Treasurer.  This can be accomplished by filling any of the above postions for 2019-20 and beyond.

Any active member interested in volunteering is WELCOMED!  We will be holding a transition meeting soon, and any interested members are welcomed to attend any scheduled monthly meeting to gain information.  Feel free also to reach out to any current board member for information or questions as well.
