Meeting attendance Important Updates- FYI

Good Morning everyone,

In response to assuring our members can attend educational events, we have always offered the waiting list for attendees who due to unforseen cicumstances, cannot attend a pre registered session.  Thank you to those who have graciously followed the process accordingly!  A number of waiting attendees have been able to join us!

However, we have noted a trend in some individuals repeatedly signing up for a session and then not attending, nor advising that a seat has become available.  We have been tracking this for some time now.  Please be advised that a new process is being undertaken to avoid this from happening and interested individuals missing out on events.

Effective today, March 12, 2018, any registrant that is identified as a "No Show" on more than 2 occasions will be flagged as such in the system, and will be prohibited from registering.  Special circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis.  To reinstate registration activity, communication with the webmaster & membership chair must be done.

We feel this step is needed to assure those members in good standing can continue to enjoy the beneifts of their paid membership, as well as in fairness to our vendor partners and venue coordinators who provide generous supports to host our events.  As always, remember that National AACN membership MUST be up to date in order to become a chapter member, or participate at the local level for the discounted rates.
