Registered Nurse, Clinic New

Lakeshore Talent is searching for a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, participant-centered care within a clinic setting in Philadelphia, PA.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN passionate about serving an elderly population in a collaborative, interdisciplinary care environment.

Employment Type: Starting as a 2 month W-2 contract to start, with possibility for extension.

Pay: $41-$54.28/hr.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with examinations, testing, and treatment of participants
• Implement provider orders and administer prescribed medications/treatments
• Provide training for medication self-administration and monitor compliance
• Triage participant and staff calls to determine care priority
• Schedule external appointments as needed
• Develop, implement, and maintain nursing care plans
• Document and maintain accurate medical records
• Provide health education and counseling to participants and families
• Observe and report participant condition and treatment responses
• Support clinical teaching and supervision of CNA Day Center staff
• Supervise LPNs/LVNs and Medical Assistants as needed
• Maintain stocked and organized exam/triage areas
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team, family, and clinic meetings
• Assist in overall clinic oversight in the absence of nursing leadership
• Provide after-hours/holiday coverage if required
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and policy guidelines
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Current State-Issued Registered Nurse License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with the frail or elderly population
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• 1+ year of acute care nursing experience
• 3+ years of healthcare experience with emphasis in geriatrics
• Bilingual (Spanish, Russian, Punjabi, or Hmong)
